Growing up in Northern California, not far from the rocky coast, the beautiful Sierras, and the Golden Gate City, she yearned for adventure. She began singing at a young age; accompanying her dad as he played jazz standards on his guitar and taking inspiration from her grandmother's albums including artists such as Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. Jazz became a major influence in her love for music. As a young woman, she left to travel across the United States, by way of thumb or freight train, playing music wherever her feet carried her. Soon, music carried her to the alluring City of New Orleans.
New Orleans inspired her to improve her songwriting and guitar playing skills. Traveling around the country, relying on making a living as a street musician, allowed her time to craft her own unique sound. A true singer-songwriter, she sings from her heart, bringing joy through her song to listeners. She just released her debut album, "Above the Clouds" on November 16th, recorded while living in her van.
